Fabulous BBC Wide body EMT 950 Broadcast Turntable
Here for auction is one of the sought after full BBC specification widebody EMT 950 turntables. It is complete with the 929 arm, fitted withthe TSD headshell and a Shure cartridge. See also my narrow body EMT950 listed.
No reserve auction starting at 0.01 gbp.
It is in truly excellent working order with smooth running and quietbearings, All of the switches work and it is ready to rock and roll.
Cosmetically speaking, it is really very good with remarkably goodpaintwork, bearing in mind that it has been a working turntable. Thelid however has a crack in it, currently covered with black tape. Iknow it is possible to repair these but I will leave that to thewinning bidder.
Varispeed model with speeds from 20 to 99 rpm, of course with the regular 33/ 45/ 78 buttons too.
Fitted with the BBC spec front fader of course and it comes with themultipin connecting cable but it also has XLR connections at the rearfrom a built in high quality phono preamp.
Set for 240 Volt/ 50 Hz but this can be changed to work on any power worldwide.
