Additional Details:

I am the second owner of the cartridge. I bought it from Isenberg Audio, who are the main dealer and best friend of Jan Allaerts.

Prior to me buying it, the MC1B went back to Jan for a check-over and passed with flying colours. And it is still in immaculate condition.

I used the cartridge for a few years on my Clearaudio Reference with Souther Arm. After changing to an air bearing arm I changed cartridge to a Shilabe and put the Allaerts back in its box. And it has been my spare cartridge ever since. I would estimate 700 hours total playing time. Jan quotes up to 10,000 hours life.
